The Youth Choir Program provides an opportunity for young singers to grow in spirituality and social responsibility. It fosters healthy singing technique and encourages the acquisition of musicianship skills. It provides a peer group for youngsters who love to sing. We think of the Youth Choirs as a team and choir family that love to share their musical gifts with our Community as well as the world at large.
In the past decade, the Youth Choir has sung for many diverse communities including singing Mass at St. Peter’s in the Vatican as well as performing on the Grand Ole Opry Stage. They have sung for very ill children at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville as well as the Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hersey. The Youth Choir has participated in many Greenwich Interfaith Concerts including the profoundly moving Kristallnacht Service at Temple Sholom. Our Youth Choirs also give annual Christmas, as well as Broadway, Pop, Country, and Disney Concerts.
