Our Worship
Worship at Second Congregational Church is an intense, sacred moment in which we gather to offer praise to God, to seek wisdom and insight for more faithful living through reflection on God’s Word, to build a community of Christlike love, and to be commissioned to go to all the world as Christ’s disciples. Our worship seeks to touch the heart and stimulate the mind.
Worship at Second Church is surprising in the best sense; our worship includes creative and thought-provoking preaching, a diversity of musical styles, healing and heartfelt prayer, and the innovative use of the arts. The Bible and the building of our community of faith are central in our worship.
