Stewardship < go back to Our Ministries

The success of our programs depends upon the gifts of time, talents and financial support given by our members and friends.

People give of their time and talent in many ways. Volunteers run a consignment shop, offering quality items to the community at reasonable prices with proceeds benefiting church projects. Many members give of their time to serve on committees, forming the governmental structure of our church. Others receive training as Called to Care Ministers and supplement pastoral care. Volunteers teach our Church School classes and sing in our choirs. Volunteers also prepare meals for a nearby homeless shelter as well as for church celebrations.

In addition to sharing time and talents, we rely upon members and friends to share their financial blessings with us — without such gifts, we would cease to exist! Many members make an annual pledge, or financial giving promise to the church. Others give what they can, when they can. Since we must look to the future as well, funding major and extraordinary expenses, an endowment exists, supported by a variety of gifts, bequests, and gift annuities that best support each donor's particular needs.
