Our Called to Care Ministry Team seeks to make the spiritual and physical healing ministry of Christ present in our church and community.

Pastoral care, bringing in on a one-on-one way the healing love of Christ, is carried out by a trained network of members of the church. These women and men, who have been trained in either the Stephen Ministry Program or the Called-to-Care Program of the United Church of Christ, do general and hospital visitations, provide a trained, caring presence for people who are ill, grieving, or struggling with a crisis in their lives. They also carry out an active ministry of prayer and find or create healing devotional resources. A new component of their ministry is their significant involvement in our Taize and Healing worship services.
