Heart Care International is a team of health care professionals who volunteer their time and skills to save the lives of indigent children and young adults with heart disease. It holds a special place in the outreach efforts of the Second Congregational Church, since it was birthed (begun) through the efforts of laity and clergy of this church.

Heart Care International, a non-profit 501C-3 organization, delivers high-quality compassionate medical and surgical care to our patients in developing countries where there is no pediatric cardio-thoracic surgery capability. To date, over 300 children have been treated by the team.
