Gloria LaDestro has primary responsibility for handling the administrative needs of the church staff and members. Among her contributions to church life, Gloria prepares and edits the monthly Steeple Views & News newsletter, manages other print and electronic communications, supports Rev. Bob Naylor, tracks pledges and donations, manages meeting scheduling and notification, and responds to various requests and inquiries.

Before joining Second Church in 2000, Gloria filled a similar role at Harvest Time Church in Glenville, Conn., serving as its office director for 14 years. Previously, she owned and operated Rite Cleaners in Port Chester, N.Y., a family business. Gloria also draws on church, school and community volunteer experience.

A Port Chester native, Gloria lives in Rye Brook, N.Y. She and her husband, Phil, have two grown children and two grandchildren.
