Church School classes, divided by age and grade level, meet each Sunday from September through early June during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. During the summer months, a multi-age class is provided during the 9:30 service.

Each Sunday, children attend the first part of the service, which includes a children's message, or other form of child participation in worship, and then leave for their classes. Classes are held for children beginning with Age 3 through seventh grade students, and child care is provided for infants and toddlers in our nursery. Eighth graders participate in the Confirmation program.

The goal of our Church School is to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for infants through seventh graders, where they can learn the traditional stories of the Bible and begin to develop an understanding of, and a relationship with, God. Elementary school students in kindergarten through fifth grade participate in The Gospel Light Curriculum during the school year. Gospel Light is a curriculum that we find to engage children while they are learning important lessons and messages about their faith. The fun and meaningful activities, games, student guides and compelling visual aids make Bible lessons come alive for kids. Children have the opportunity to learn through games, drama, music, cooking, art, audio/visual and participation in hands-on mission projects. |
Fifth grade through seventh graders use a curriculum called “Grapple”. This is a program that will engage their participation through attention-grabbing lessons, thought-provoking videos, fun games, and deep, life-changing Bible lessons. They will be inspired to connect throughout the week through their very own safe and secure online community. |

Throughout the course of the church school program, it is our goal for children to first develop a level of comfort within the church environment, then with the stories and themes in the Bible, then with the Bible itself; so that as they mature, they will grow into conscious participants in the church community. Through interactive learning, we strive to make this process not only enjoyable but also personal for each growing and developing individual. |
