Bible Study and Devotional Resources
“In the same way the Spirit helps us….for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit intercedes for us with inexpressible yearnings.”
These words from Apostle Paul to the Christians in Rome are the basis for our need for meditative, devotional time…time when we can come into God’s presence and allow our whole beings, not just our words, to come into relationship with the God revealed to us in Jesus Christ. There are times for action and involvement in doing the Gospel’s challenge, but, there is also the need for just “being” in solitude and silence as we relate to our God, the God who understands us even when we can’t find the right words to speak.
